Between the city of Milan and Turin,
you'll find the famous wine region of Barolo, Barbera, and Asti Spumante. You can start
the tour in the old town of Cigliano
located about 40KM from the city of Turin where the Winter Olympics took place in
February 2006. Enjoy your stay in Cigliano at the historical XVI century
palace that Napoleon made into its headquarters during his
military campaigns, according to historical documents.
Rentals:
The palace has been completely restored to preserve its priceless marbles,
granites, original furniture, chandeliers, stove, stucco, and exterior
facade. Gold was extensively used throughout the interiors to enrich the
stucco's elaborate design and vivid colors. Belle Arti (the official Italian
Arts Organization for the preservation of Historical Monuments) has
supervised the restoration process.
The palace can also be rented for office space,
conferences, corporate events, private parties and it's an ideal setting for
movies. The apartments in the palace are also available for short and
